Stepvora Privacy Policy

On your phone

Everything you log is stored in an encrypted database on your device. Food photos, nutrition labels and your profile photo are processed and kept on your phone and are never uploaded.

In Explore mode (trying the app without an account) you only see sample data, and nothing you do is saved or sent to us.

Your account

To use Stepvora you sign in with an email address. With an account we store:

• Your email address and password, to sign you in. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
• A backup of what you log, so it is safe and available when you sign in on another phone: habits and their check-offs, water, meals and calories, workouts and activities, sleep, your daily routine and your settings.
• Body details you enter: sex, age, height, weight, weight log and goals. They are used only to calculate your calories, BMI, water goal and workouts, and to back them up for you.
• The name you choose for your profile.

We use this information only to run the app for you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers below, which handle it on our behalf.

Camera and microphone

The camera is used only when you choose to scan food, a nutrition label or a barcode. Food and label recognition run on your phone.

The microphone is used only while you hold voice logging on. Speech is turned into text by your phone's speech recognition service. Depending on your phone and its settings, that service (for example Google on Android) may process the audio. We do not receive or keep any audio.

Barcode lookups

When you scan a barcode, the app sends only the barcode number to Open Food Facts to fetch the product's nutrition. As with any web request, that service receives your device's IP address. No account details are sent.

Stepvora Plus

Subscriptions are bought and managed through Google Play. We never see your card or payment details; the app only checks with Google Play whether your subscription is active. You can cancel at any time in Google Play.

Where it is stored

Account data is stored with Supabase, which hosts our database. Sign-in and password-reset emails are sent through Resend. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and database rules ensure each person can only read their own data.

Notifications

Reminders for water, meals, your routine and bedtime are scheduled on your phone. No notification server is involved.

What we do not do

• No advertising and no ad identifiers.
• No analytics or tracking tools.
• No selling or renting of data.

Health information

Stepvora gives general wellness guidance, such as calorie targets, BMI and workout plans. It is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise or diet plan, especially if you have a health condition.

Deleting your account and data

Your data: in the app, open Profile and use Export my data to get a copy, or Delete all data to remove everything from your phone.

Your account: email info@qudexa.tech from the address of your account and ask us to delete it. We delete your account and everything stored with it within 30 days and confirm by email. An active Stepvora Plus subscription must be cancelled separately in Google Play.

Data on your phone is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Children

Stepvora is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Credits

Exercise photos from free-exercise-db (public domain). Product nutrition data from Open Food Facts (Open Database License).

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
